Jerry Goolsby is a shareholder and treasurer in the Smith, Turner & Reeves assurance area. In that role he manages assurance and consulting services for a wide spectrum of industries including construction, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, and governmental entities. Jerry joined ST&R in 1991 and has also developed expertise in the preparation of financial projections and mergers and acquisitions.
Jerry is active in his community having served as Chairman of the Reservoir YMCA and Treasurer of Friends of Children's Hospital at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He has also served as president of the Central chapter of the Mississippi Society of CPA’s and on their board of governors. As a reservoir area resident, Jerry is also a member of the Rankin County chamber of commerce and is a graduate of both Leadership Rankin and Mississippi Economic Council’s Leadership Mississippi. A Falkner, Mississippi native and 1987 graduate of Mississippi State University, Jerry, his wife Vicky, and children, are active members of Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
