Ralph Ross is Senior Tax Partner in the Firm. In that role he oversees all tax planning, tax preparation and related training. In addition, Ralph directs the Firm's business valuation services and investment advisory services. A background that includes achievement of the Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Financial Planner designations bolsters his experience in the estate and gift tax areas. He is experienced in financial planning, merger and acquisitions and representation before the Internal Revenue Service. Ralph is an active member of the Estate Planning Council and the Jackson Tax Forum. He has earned the Certification Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation as recognized by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and served as the Past-President of the Mississippi Chapter of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Ralph is an avid golfer, having earned a golf scholarship to the University of Mississippi. A Grenada, Mississippi native and a 1974 Ole Miss graduate, Ralph is a member of the Rotary Club of Jackson and is the Vice President of the Mississippi Tax Institute. He is currently serving as the Treasurer of The Rebel Club Of Jackson and was recently appointed to the Chair of the Taxation Committee of the MS Society of CPA's. Ralph, his wife, Jerri, and children, Graeme and Jennings, attend First Baptist Church of Jackson. Ralph began his public accounting career with the Memphis, Tennessee office of Ernst & Young, LLP. He is a licensed CPA in Mississippi and Tennessee.
