Vickie Cook is a partner with Smith, Turner & Reeves and oversees the Firm's Oxford, Mississippi office. Her primary responsibilities include accounting and tax for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Vickie focuses on preparation of individual, partnership, corporate and estate tax returns in addition to tax and business consultation. Her industry specialties include retail establishments, restaurants and medical practices.
A native of Oxford and a 1975 graduate of the University of Mississippi, Vickie, her husband, Mike Wright and son Wil Cook reside in her hometown. They are members of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Vickie is very involved in the community and state and devotes time to several committees. She is a founding member of the Ole Miss First Philanthropy Advisory Council. Vickie is also a member of the Oxford Business Women’s Initiative, an organization associated with the Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy. She is a member of the United Way Leadership Giving Committee and Regional Director for the Mississippi State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
